Nokia 6500 Slide

What the 6500 Classic lacks in the 6500 Slide more than makes up for, launched at the same time, the slider version is the alternative with the better functionality at a slightly higher price. Although not as stylish as its slim brother, the slider is definitely a buy that is worth the money.

Design and Looks
Not as stylish as the slimmer 6500, being a slider, the 6500 slide does have its charm. Not to mention the slider is made of brushed stainless steel that looks really cool in a subtle way. The sliding mechanism isn't top-notch and leaves markings on the keypad but this isn't a much of a surprise since Nokia have never been really good at making sliders.

The phone's best features are the larger 2.2” screen, the comfortable D-pad, the large ergonomic keypad and the snazzy 3.2MP camera with dual LED flash. Sadly, the camera lens is unprotected from scratches; however, it is slightly recessed inside the camera's body which should provide some relief. What's more is, you can video call and video-conference with the phone.

The Nokia 6500 Slide is worth its price tag- definitely a good buy.
